WE ARE A GROUP OF CHRISTIAN FATHERS AND MOTHERS, CONVICTED BY GOD’S WORD, TO FORM THE SOULS OF OUR CHILDREN AND GRANDCHILDREN IN THE TRUTH, GOODNESS, EXCELLENCE, AND BEAUTY OF JESUS CHRIST. CENTURION HAS A VISION OF A K-12 CLASSICAL CHRISTIAN LIBERAL ARTS INSTITUTION THAT PARTNERS WITH CHRISTIAN FAMILIES REGARDLESS OF THEIR FINANCIAL SITUATION, SO THAT CLASSICAL CHRISTIAN RELIGIOUS INSTRUCTION MAY BE THE STANDARD FOR CHRISTIAN HOMES AND CULTURE.

GOD IS Sovereign
At Centurion, we affirm all the beautiful elements of the reformed tradition beginning with the 5 solas of the reformation: Sola Gratia, Sola Fide, Solus Christus, Sola Scriptura, and Soli Deo Gloria. The same theology of Augustine, Calvin, Owen, Spurgeon, Mbewe, and Baucham is our theology. We also cherish the god-honoring work through catechisms, creeds, and confessions throughout church history. Therefore, The Apostles Creed, the Nicene Creed, and The Document of Chalcedon are all ecumenical creeds that we affirm. Furthermore, our statement of faith beautifully states all that we believe in The Second London Baptist Confession of Faith. Often referred to as The 1689 Confession, this grand confession was adapted from The Westminster Confession of Faith and The Savoy Declaration. All of which have a high view of the Triune God, the Sufficiency of Scripture, Creation, Salvation, Redemption, Marriage, and the importance of the local church. Catechesis is a process of learning through question and answer. It is essential for laying down the railroad tracks of faith in young lives and has been used to disciple countless children and adults. The questions always align with the confession of faith and its theology.

Truth is the most valuable gift in the world. Christ himself claims himself as the definite article of The Truth in the Gospel of John. Therefore, at Centurtion, training our children to think with truth in mind gives them a foundation of discernment as they engage with ideas in the world. To have Christ and His word dominate the mind develops a bold and robust conscience and faith.

How we conduct ourselves in our lives reflects greatly upon our King. At Centurion, we are committed to instilling Godly virtue in our students through speech, attire, discipline, manners, and liturgy. We believe in building young men and women into Titus 2 men and women who reflect the character and demeanor of a person who knows, loves, and lives for Christ.

Your child is more than just a mind, they have a soul, and God, in His mercy, has given us beauty. The formation of the soul requires children and adults to engage with beautiful art, music, architecture, landscapes, and ideas.
