WHY CENTURION?
-
CHRIST-DRIVEN
“I AM THE WAY, AND THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE.”
John 14:2-7 ESV
Centurion Christian Classical School seeks to glorify Christ in every subject and every aspect as we endeavor to pass on the faith to the next generation. -
CLASSICAL
ALL TRUTH IS GOD’S TRUTH
The classical method is focused on a student’s soul formation; therefore, virtue is the goal and not just grades. Along with virtue comes academic rigor, discipline and an exposure to truth, goodness and beauty. This is worldview training. -
AFFORDABLE
WE GROW WITH THE GENEROSITY OF GOD’S PEOPLE
We desire to see an excellent Christian Classical education be delivered and provided to all eligible families whether they have the funds to pay for this education or not. We, therefore, only charge a curriculum fee of $1000 for the year and rely upon the generosity of the Local Church and donors to support Christians taking ownership over the education of children in Christian homes. -
DISCIPLESHIP
WE SERVE CHRISTIAN PARENTS
All Christian parents are called to train their children in the faith (Deut 6, Eph. 6). We serve at the pleasure of and under the authority of Christian Fathers and Mothers who want to obey the Lord in this blessed command.

We only exist through the generosity, engagement and prayer of God’s people

TEACHERS
LOVE CHRIST • LOVE CHILDREN • LOVE TO LEARN
YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE A CERTIFIED TEACHER. We are looking for passionate believers who love Christ, love children, and love to learn. If this is you, then Join the CENTURION Missionary Faculty and become part of the vision to form a new generation of equipped leaders in the church and citizens for the world. We are seeking K-3 teachers for the 2022/2023 school year. ALL Centurion teachers MUST pass a LifeScan background check and once we become a K-12 school, we will seek ACCS Accreditation and ACCS Teacher certification.
GIVERS
CHURCHES • VOLUNTEERS • DONORS
This work requires a true Christian communal effort. Whether you are a Church dedicating funds or a facility or believer in a season of giving, our donors see what we see: education is all about soul formation and the family is the primary authority over this God-ordained work. As a CENTURION donor, you are contributing to God’s work in the discipleship and formation of our youth. This school will flourish only through the generosity of God’s people, and without it, CENTURION cannot exist. If you have a specialized gift for us, please feel free to call or email us with your idea. CONTACT INFO
WHAT IS CLASSICAL CHRISTIAN EDUCATION?
T H E R E S U L T S
CONTRAST BRINGS CLARITY AND THESE RESULTS MAKE THIS EDUCATION THE BEST CHOICE FOR CHRISTIAN FAMILIES
This COMPARATIVE STUDY conducted by Cartas and the University of Notre Dame produced a body of research which seems to confirm what history has repeatedly demonstrated—classical Christian education can influence the course of a home, a community, or a nation. See the results for yourself.
”DO THIS IN REMEMBRANCE OF ME.” (Luke 22:19, 1 Cor 15:24 & 25)
REFORMED THEOLOGY IS ANOTHER WAY OF SAYING BIBLICAL THEOLOGY
"The old truth that Calvin preached, that Augustine preached, that Paul preached, is the truth that I must preach to-day, or else be false to my conscience and my God. I cannot shape the truth; I know of no such thing as paring off the rough edges of a doctrine. John Knox's gospel is my gospel. That which thundered through Scotland must thunder through England again."
- C.H. SPURGEON
“IT IS A GREAT THING to begin the Christian life by believing good solid doctrine. Some people have received twenty different “gospels” in as many years; how many more they will accept before they get to their journey’s end, it would be difficult to predict. I thank God that He early taught me the gospel, and I have been so perfectly satisfied with it, that I do not want to know any other. Constant change of creed is sure loss. If a tree has to be taken up two or three times a year, you will not need to build a very large loft in which to store the apples. When people are always shifting their doctrinal principles, they are not likely to bring forth much fruit to the glory of God. It is good for young believers to begin with a firm hold upon those great fundamental doctrines which the Lord has taught in His Word.”
- C.H. SPURGEON
The reformed faith is the most solid ground upon which to build this school and the most solid ground upon which to disciple your children. Why? Because biblical theology always reminds man of his finite form and of God’s infinitely holy form. As a result, all the defenders of the faith over many centuries have been devoted to RE-FORM back to Gods intended form of our faith. In a sense, we are semper reformanda “always reforming” because man often tries to tinker with his design. Reformed theology can be synthesized, but is by no means comprehensive and requires further study, in the following ways:
1. THE FIVE SOLAS
2. THE REGULATIVE PRINCIPLE OF WORSHIP
3. COVENANT THEOLOGY
4. THE DOCTRINES OF GRACE (CALVIN)
5. A HIGH VIEW OF THE LAW OF GOD
6. CONFESSIONAL (THE 1689)
7. GLORY TO GOD IN ALL OF LIFE (The Puritan ideal)

“Thus says the LORD: ‘Stand by the roads, and look, and ask for the ancient paths, where the good way is; and walk in it, and find rest for your souls.’” (Jer 6:16 ESV)
“Education is not a subject, and it does not deal in subjects. It is instead the transfer of a way of life."
- G.K. CHESTERTON
The Latin word classic refers to an exemplary standard; traditional and long-established in form or style. If we are not in the business of training young lives in the standard or rule of all things, then we are leading down a path where truth is not the main aim of their pursuit. The student’s worldview is essential to train young minds to think. Classical Christian education ignites a robust and beautiful learning adventure in the biblical worldview. Classical education has had many applications, but as advocated by David Hick, we at Centurion practice “moral classicism”, so we are not interested in teaching world history, great books and Latin removed from the Christian worldview. There are classical schools, but we are a classical Christian school. Our virtues and pursuit of learning is driven by Christ and His word. This is not an exercise in democratic paideia (culture). This is distinctively Christian paideia or education in the Christian way of life which is intellectual, beautiful, enjoyable, challenging, and fixed on truth. We are forming children to glorify and meet their maker in all they do with the short time they have.

CLASSICAL
“We have become orphans, fatherless;…” (Lam 5:3 ESV)
The Great Commission refers to ALL nations and our children are the first people we encounter who are lost and must be taught the truths of the Christian faith. It is with this in mind that we have missionary teachers who first love Christ, love the lost, love children, and love to teach. All of them are supported by and committed to the local church. We are not a missional school for lost families. We serve Christian parents who want to disciple their children in the discipline and instruction of the Lord. We serve those specific Christian families.
MISSIONAL
ACCESSIBLE
“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” (Matt 11:28 ESV)
The Gospel call is free! Salvation is the free unmerited gift of grace from God himself. As a result of the increasing cost of private education, the abysmal results and Godlessness of the public school system, and the unquestionable results of the Classical Christian Movement (Good Soil Report), CENTURION Christian Classical School understands and addresses this serious issue of the lack of access to an exceptional Christian education.
We could have followed time-honored methods - start a private Christian school, charge $12,000-$20,000 a year, and call that a victory. Instead, God is calling us to do the hard work of reclaiming our proper role in his great institutions: The Family, The Church, The Government and The Conscience. We honor and serve The Family by offering to walk beside fathers and mothers as they raise up their children in the way they should go. The local Church is the institution with the capacity and resources we need to begin offering this educational model to the masses. The Government has failed, and so The Church must resume its rightful place in the area of education for Christian families. Any Christian family that desires to fulfill their responsibilities according to Deuteronomy 6 and Ephesians 6 should have access to our school. This is the work to which we are wholly devoted.
